About Us

I began working on computers several years ago as the result of an AOL crash. Soon I learned that crashes and other disasters were a fairly common problem and not just with AOL. After that first crash, I have learned quite a bit about what makes computers fail. As a result of what I have learned, I have been able to repair most software problems quickly.

I have also learned about Open Source software and I share my knowledge with all of my clients. To quote the opensource.org Web site "Open source is a development method for software that harnesses the power of distributed peer review and transparency of process. The promise of open source is better quality, higher reliability, more flexibility, lower cost and an end to predatory vendor lock-in." Open source software has a lower operating cost than proprietary software and most open source software works on multiple operating systems.

My mission is to help computer users have a safe and pleasant computing experience and to save them operating costs whenever possible.
